That is my all time favorite designed temple, hands down! p.s. thank you so much for the cd with the children's songs on it- I threw it on my ipod and Ellie listens to it almost every night while calming down and going to sleep!

That was my favorite temple growing up even though I had never seen it until I was 17 (and even then it was just the outside).

We were fortunate to have been able to go to the dedication of the San Diego temple in April of 1993 and then get sealed there in July of 1993 by Jonathan's grandpa, who is a sealer there. I took this photo in October on our way back to Jonathan's parents' house after a day at Sea World, of all things. We had the kids with us, so didn't go in that particular day, but WOW, I lucked out with the lighing and weather that day.

I love the temple. My perspective on it has changed since we started *really* preparing to go every time, and going every month starting last December. It's changed my life.

What a BEAUTIFUL pic--that's awesome that you took it yourself. I didn't know you guys were sealed there by your grandpa either. What a beautiful place!

beautiful...

The world has enough women who are tough;
we need women who are tender.
There are enough women who are coarse;
we need women who are kind.
There are enough women who are rude;
we need women who are refined.
We have enough women of fame and fortune;
we need more women of faith.
We have enough of greed;
we need more goodness.
We have enough of vanity;
we need more virtue.
We have enough popularity;
we need more purity.
