~ FINALLY got a Christmas photo!

** NEW POSTS ALERT **
I finally got caught up! There are a bunch of new posts starting in July, marked with "NEW" on their title... so when you are done with the busy-ness of the season and after you've had a WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS!, get comfy and catch up on what we've been up to this year.
And don't be a lurker... add yourself as a follower of our blog and leave some comments!
**************************************************************
You'd think that I'd know better than to take a Christmas photo at Christmas time, but I'm just stubborn that way, I guess. I dunno... maybe we'll get one taken this summer instead so I can skip this part next year! Getting two super fuzzy, mudball horses clean enough for photos, getting the weather to cooperate, and getting two adults, three kids, two dogs and two horses to all stand still and *SMILE!* is quite a 3-ring circus! Not to mention trying to get my new camera figured out so we could take the photo ourselves this year... Ahhh... but it was fun, actually. :)

And yes... I hope it's not too corny, but yes... same pose as last year's photo! Except that we added a dog (Bailey, on the right), gained a horse (Kaiyah, on the right), lost a horse (old man Roanie-- see the new post from November)... and I am fatter but happier than last year!

beautiful...

The world has enough women who are tough;
we need women who are tender.
There are enough women who are coarse;
we need women who are kind.
There are enough women who are rude;
we need women who are refined.
We have enough women of fame and fortune;
we need more women of faith.
We have enough of greed;
we need more goodness.
We have enough of vanity;
we need more virtue.
We have enough popularity;
we need more purity.
