~ fall fun

Some spiders creep me out. Not these guys. They just pick a spot, weave beautiful webs, and fatten up.

fall colors in our back yard

our "pumpkin" tree out front

fun in the leaves

at the Old Mill Feed store in Dallas
(see the kitty?)

going by the Ritner Creek covered bridge on Kings Valley Hwy on our way to Philomath to see our friends and the new filly

Jitterbug and her new baby
(it's Ricky's fiancee Sarah's mare and the "accidental" baby's name is "Olathe" after the boots that she was kicked with before they realized Jitterbug was preggers! Woops! But we mostly call her Baby Bug.)

Caleb "fishing" with Odette (Denise's dog)... neither one got tired of this game the whole time... they could do it indefinitely!

and yes, this is the ONLY thing the lunge whip is used for

tryin' out the green stuff...

going for a hike with Joe and Denise to "Paradise"

Joe and his stogie... explaining how the old time loggers would gather here every day in the summer to eat their lunch... it really would be paradise in the heat of summer... it's a beautiful spot.

Denise and Jonathan cracking up

me and Denise (I wuv you!)

baby loves...

oooo, yeah... really good itchies!!!

here, I will itch you back!

Baby Bug returning the favor and itching Jonathan back!

beautiful...

The world has enough women who are tough;
we need women who are tender.
There are enough women who are coarse;
we need women who are kind.
There are enough women who are rude;
we need women who are refined.
We have enough women of fame and fortune;
we need more women of faith.
We have enough of greed;
we need more goodness.
We have enough of vanity;
we need more virtue.
We have enough popularity;
we need more purity.
